She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth "Betty" Junkin and George Junkin. She is survived by: her husband Wallace Eric "Ricky" Burton of Calhoun, Georgia.; her children, Christopher Wallace Burton of Woodstock and Leslie Elizabeth McIntosh of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Abigail, Warren and Andy; and her siblings, Julia Junkin of Bethany Beach, Delaware and Timothy Junkin (Kristin Junkin) of Easton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare to which the family is extremely grateful for their compassionate care.
