She was predeceased by: her husband Mack Linwood Thorpe Sr. (Linwood); her son Mack Linwood Thorpe Jr. (Buddy); her parents, George Morse and Nelle Turbeville Morse; her siblings, Barbara Morse and George Morse Jr.; and her niece Allison Thorpe.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Amy Thorpe Davis of Raleigh and Julie Thorpe Jones of Charlotte; her daughter-in-law Pam Thorpe of Pittsboro; her great grandchildren, Amy and Greyson Davis; her sibling's children, Phillip Morse Sr., Angela Morse, Teresa Morse Harms and Wanda Thorpe; and also, Henry, Jack, Julie, Kevin Jones, David, William (Bill) and Dorothy.
