It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emerson Willard of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin S. Willard and Margaret Glendy Martin; his wife Elisabeth "Libby" White; and his siblings, Martin Stevenson Willard, Jr. and Glenn Willard Higgins.
He is survived by: his sons, A. Emerson Willard Jr. (E. Anne Willard) and W. Martin Willard (Amanda Misner); and his grandson Simon Emerson Willard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
