He was predeceased by: his parents, Armando Anthony and Angela Piccolino. He is survived by: his sister Maria Fick; his children, Donna Sims (Mick), Francine Piccolino (Tim Moody), Julia Jones Patterson (Scott), Anton Devries and Bianca Mesimer (Mark); and his grandchildren, Angela Payne (Robert), Frank Norton, Victoria Norton, Ashley McGill, David Kirschner, Natalie Wagner, Alisia Vinson (Mike) and Breeana Ganey. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moose Lodge (4610 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
