He is survived by: his wife Mary Penton Maliga; his children, Julie Maliga Hardison (Michael) of Wilmington, Amy Maliga Winstead of Melbourne, FL, Thomas Walter Maliga (Nicole) of Atoka, TN and Ted Joseph Maliga (Monica) of Washington, DC.; his stepchildren, Caroline Clark of Wilmington and Howard Russell Clark (Beverly) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Ariana, Shayna, Trevor, Zach, Allison, Ted, Jr., Bruce and Jamison; and his great grandchild Harper.
