We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2025, at the age of 90, George Franklin Warwick of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact George had on those he encountered along his journey. Though George may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Warwick and Mozelle Warwick; his wife Martha; and his son Kevin (Sarah). He is survived by: his stepson Wrenn Cox (Jessica); his daughter-in-law Sarah Warwick; his grandsons, Liam Warwick and Ryan Warwick; his sister Margaret Stanley; Gideons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church (5524 Myrtle Grove Rd, Wilmington, NC 28409). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403).
