It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Brunner Faigle Jr. of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Edithe Hartmann and Gerald Brunner Faigle Sr.; his sister Cynthia Faigle Quinn; and his brother-in-law Alfred Hallenbeck. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Messic Faigle; his children, Jennifer Musser (Duane), Christopher Faigle (Rachael) and Whitney Faigle; his granddaughters, Dana Musser and Lia Musser; his stepgranddaughter Claire Worsham; his sister Joan Faigle Hallenbeck; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Messic Wenberg and Paul Quinn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Andrews Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
