He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Schwartz and Katharina Schwartz; his siblings, Joseph Schwartz and Helen Taylor; his daughter-in-law Karen Schwartz; his grandson Garret Russell; and his in-laws, James, Helen West and Bruce Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his sons, Greg Schwartz (Christie) of Wilmington, NC, David Schwartz (Valerie) of Savannah, GA and Tracy Schwartz of Leland, NC; his great grandchildren, Kayla Hollifield (Nick), Sadie of Rocky Point, NC, Ashley Evans (Justin), George of Rocky Point, NC, Kevin Schwartz of Charleston, SC, Courtney Bass Kaden (Devin), Leo of Savannah, GA and Kaitlyn Schwartz of Savannah, GA.; his siblings, Frank Schwartz of Wilmington, NC, Otto Schwartz of Calabash, NC, Billy Schwartz of Greensboro, NC and Mitzi McDonald of Calabash, NC; and his brother-in-law Jimmy West (Sharon) of Wilmington, NC.. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces as well as an abundance of extended family, friends and neighbors.
