He was predeceased by: his son Joshua M. Parish; his parents, Robert A. Parish and Esther M. Guyton; and his stepfather Prentice Guyton. He is survived by: his wife Nona Carolyn Parish; his sisters, Regina Guyton of Fayetteville, NC and Barbie Silvas of Bladenboro, NC; and his brother-in-law Bobby Herring of Clarkton, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
