He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Harrelson and Esther Eason Harrelson; his wife Melissa Harrelson (Lisa); his siblings, Hugh Harrelson, Margaret Clemmons and Joyce Martin; and his sons, Harvey Harrelson, Jr. and Troy Harrelson.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Everton Harrelson (Rosa), Lorretta Harrelson and Sharon Frazier; his grandchildren, Esmeralda Harrelson, Ethan Harrelson, Diego Harrelson, Vincent Harrelson, Jessica Lowery, Skyler Light and Nathaniel Owens; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Harrelson-Bailey, Ayden Letterlough, Aaliyah Pope, Haven Kay Owens and Maria Barrientos.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina which he donated to his entire life.
