She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Earl Eaton and Edna Louise Cowles Eaton. She is survived by: her husband Richard Karl Stoughton; her siblings, Valerie D. Kinsley (Ken), Cynthia A. Lewis (David), Jeffory Blaine Stoughton (Ellen), Martin R. Stoughton (Helen) and Daniel N. Stoughton; her grandchildren, Blaine H. Stoughton, Kody Kinsley (Angelo), Jesse Kinsley (Madison), Raleigh Stoughton (Emily), Katherine Lewis and Jon Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Gracyn and Elijah.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403).
