As we bid adieu to Ilene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ilene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Gothelf and Lillian Gothelf. She is survived by: her husband Steve Stolerow; her children, Natalie Sheedy (Ray) and Daniel Wolf (Coral Xu); and her sisters, Toby Ellis, Barbara Berman (Fred Rosenberg) and Francine Lightell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Andrews Mortuary (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
