We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Iris Morton Todd of Wilmington, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mattie Needham Morton and Joseph "Shorty" Morton; her grandparents, Rose and Walker Needham; her husband Ed Todd; her grandson Mark; her brother Joseph Morton, Jr.; and her daughter Gay Shackelford of Travelers Rest. She was also cherished by her grandparents, all her aunts and uncles, and several cousins and in-laws.
She enjoyed sewing and shared her pleasure in sewing by making scores of COVID masks for nonprofit organizations, "belongings" bags for unhoused people, and bookmarks for the Wilmington Public Library.
