He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonza Dewey (AD) and Gertrude Craft Brinson; and his siblings, Alonza, Joseph, Daniel Brinson, Dorothy, Mayfield and Rachel.
He is survived by: his wife Lizsiel "Liz" Brinson; his children, Kimberly "Kim" Newton (Trent) and Hugh Brinson; his grandchildren, Trevor Newton and Bailey Brinson; and his siblings, Mildred Gootee, Ray and Gabriel "Gabe" Brinson (Judy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
