He is survived by: his wife Joyce Martin Beard; his daughters, Lois Beard Martin, D. O., Lisa Marie Beard Ballantine and J. D. (Patrick James Ballantine); his grandchildren, Amanda Monique Martin Brown (Austin Brown), Alaina Surret Martin, Wilker Marie Ballantine Yeargan (Fisher Yeargan) and Augustus James Ballantine; his nephew Daniel Charles Martin (Kim); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Martin and Amanda Martin.
