He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wiley Long and Mary Elizabeth Blanton Long. He is survived by: his sister Lelamae "Susie" Smith; his wife Myrtle Hyatt Long; his children, Jeff Long of Wilmington, Jan Long Burey (Steve) of Rocky Point, Steve Long of Carolina Beach and Michael Long of Wilmington; his brother Ronnie Long of Alabama; his grandchildren, Savannah, Carter, Blaney, Dalton, Shane, Heather and Kandace; and his great grandchildren, Spencer, Bayley, Nala, Maya, Dillon, Jr., Santana and Kaedyn.
