He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Sterling of Wilmington, NC; his daughters, Denise Sterling (Aravindh Johendran) of Charlotte, NC and Tiffany Jacobs of Greensboro, NC; his siblings, Reginald Wells (Barbara), Peter Wells (Sharon) and Leslie Wells (Roger); his in-laws, Thelma Gittens (late David Gittens), Arcina Pyatt (Ike) and Charles Jacobs (Mary); his siblings' children, Cherry Jacobs, Nikiya Jacobs, Fred Frazier Jr., Ryan Frazier (Bridget), Christopher Frazier of Charles, Jacobs Jr., Dedric Simpson, George Everett, Anthony Sims, Kelvin Sims, Chris Sims, Brianna Sims and Matthew Sims; his friend Erica Sparrow of Clayton, NC; his cousins, Vickie Sterling, Cherie Corbett, Felicia Lloyd, David Lloyd and Mary Patrick; and his friends, Joe Harris, Ronald Samuels, Inez "Cocoa" Campbell-Eason and Eleanor Robinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
