James Lyon Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2025, at the age of 91, James Lyon Jr. of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anna T. Lyon; his parents, James T. Lyon, Sr. and Jennie J. Lyon; his siblings, Margaret L. Phillips and Ronald W. Lyon; and his sister-in-law Judy M. Lyon.
He is survived by: his children, James T. Lyon III (Cindy) and Jennifer Lyon; his grandchildren, James T. Lyon IV and Christine Lyon; and his sister Sandra L. Stafford (Bobby). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Wilmington Lions Club or Lower Cape Fear LifeCare (hospice).
