He was predeceased by : his parents, James B. Beyersdorf and Jeanne M. (Reed) of Jacksonville; and his brother Billy of Jacksonville. He is survived by : his children, Benjamin Beyersdorf of Wilmington and Ashley Kilbourn of Florida; his stepmother Martha Beyersdorf of Vermont; and his sister Sandy Mello of California. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews, and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Long Leaf Park (314 Pine Grove Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403).
