He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Melvin Worden and Irene Worden; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Bidwell.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Jeannie Laughlin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica Shrine of St. Mary (412 Ann St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
