She was predeceased by: her parents, Evie Holmes Jackson and Harold Boyd Jackson; her husband Clinton Rex Hardy Sr.; and her siblings, Betsy Lamm (Julian), Samuel Jackson (Claudia) and Harold Jackson (Charlotte).

She is survived by: her children, Amy Hardy Bradshaw (Mike), Madelyn (Logan), Alex and Clint (Jamie); her grandson Rex (Lina); her son Garrett; her great grandchildren, Ava and Brooke; her brother Barry Jackson (Joyce); her daughter Wendy; her niece Bebe (Harold); her great-nephew Jackson; her nephew Franklin (Helen); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Oliva and Elizabeth; and her caregivers, Joy, Jazmin, Jae and Janice. She is also survived by her family, friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
