It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Jones (Wilmington, North Carolina), who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Coonen and Adele Marie Biolchini Coonen; and her siblings, Thelma Bloomquist, Mary Clayton, Howard Coonen and Jeremiah Coonen.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Haugen (Dean), Diana Todd (Jimmy), Dr. David Jones, Jr. (Katie) and Daniel Jones (Patricia); her grandchildren, Dean Haugen, Jr., Deanna Haugen-Henning (Logan), David Jones III (Brittany), Liberty Jones, Joshua Jones (Shaun), Michelle Cribb (Johnny), Daniel Jones, Jr., Patricia Danielle Jones and Curtis Jones; her great grandchildren, Audriana, Daniel, Faith, Joseph, Levi, Benjamin and Allee; and her sister Sheila Powell.
