It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Walter Temple in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Landis McNeil Temple. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Reade Temple; and his brothers, Steve (Debbie Temple) and Richard (Dorota Temple). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations and memorials be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care.

“My wife, Dorota, and I are saddened by the death of my brother, John, and yet comforted to know that he is now at rest after a very difficult battle with health problems during the final years of his life. We would also like to send our special condolences to his wife of many years, Pat King, who was also his steadfast friend and his chief caregiver through many difficulties and trying circumstances until the very end of his life. All who knew him well will remember him as a friend to all.”
