The passing of Joseph J. DeMartis in Wilmington, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico DeMartis and Mary DeMartis (Petrelli); and his siblings, Felix, Michael, James, Frances and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Elizabeth (Mark), Ann (Paul) and Judy; his granddaughter Jill; his sister Helen (Alfonso); his grandchildren, Christopher, Geneva and Brandon; and his caregivers, Susan, Gerald, Shirley and Heidi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Andrews Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (209 N Lumina Ave, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480).
