He was predeceased by: his father James Leroy Whitener, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Amy Whitener; his daughters, Sadie and Ruthie Whitener; his mother Billie Gail Martin Whitener of Reidsville, NC; and his brother Christopher Eric Whitener of West Virginia.
