She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Owens and Nora Duncan Owens; and her siblings, Mark Owens, Ruth Lane, Doris Huestess, Linda Leder and Jean Marie Owens.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Purser, Lillian Babson, Mildred Walter (Jack) and Anne Rotruck (Eddie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (1801 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28403). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
