Julia P. Toone Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia P. Toone of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 29, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Julia's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Julia has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gaston Peacock and Julia Brown Peacock; her husband Edwin Love Toone III; and her brother John Gaston Peacock, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Julia Bates Toone (Brian LeFevre) of Winston-Salem and Edwin Love Toone IV (Amanda) of Olot; and her grandchildren, Noah LeFevre of Santa Monica, CA, Ben LeFevre and Amélie of Luis Toone. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many devoted first cousins.
