He was predeceased by: his parents, James Worth Elkins and Ruth Ballantine Elkins; and his former wife Lou Ann Mason Sidbury. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Fisher (Carlton); and his grandchildren, Mason Fisher and Anna Bame (Carter) of Wilmington, NC..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (411 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
