He is survived by: his wife Patricia Robbins Vass of Wilmington, NC; and his children, Doug Vass (Curtis) of Wilmington, NC, Pam Vass Ellenberg (Walt) of Thurmont, MD, Jimmy Vass (Melinda) of Wilmington, NC, Brad Vass (Christa) of Wilmington, NC and Sue Laackmann (Tom) of Wilmington, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
