She was predeceased by: her parents, George Newlin and Blanche Laura Newlin; her husband Darryl L. Bruestle; and her daughter Maryn Bruestle O'Neill. She is survived by: her children, Bradley J. Bruestle (Tammy) and LeeAnn Bruestle Carroll (Rick); her son-in-law Hugh O'Neill; her daughter Karin Schermerhorn of Waterford, MI.; her grandchildren, Chelsea Long (Vincent Long), Kaylee Carroll Bransky (Patrick), Michael O'Neill (Katie), Emily O'Neill Lewis (Dane Lewis), Christopher O'Neill and Madelyn O'Neill; and her great grandchildren, Everley, Adair, Cora, Ford Long, Haylee O'Neill, Harvey, Winston Lewis, Quincee, Darryl, Adalaide, Violet Bransky and Nettie O'Neil.
In lieu of flowers honors, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to either Winter Park Presbyterian Church or the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, in appreciation for the compassionate support and loving care provided to Kaye and her family.
