It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kimberly Chewning of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Kimberly leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org) or to the Alzheimer's Association.
