Kurt R. Kovach Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 3, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Kurt R. Kovach (Wilmington, North Carolina), born in McLean, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arlene Kalsbeek and Robert Kovach; his wife Debbie; his grandsons, Crosby, Bode, Wesley, Roscoe and Sam; his sister Sandy Heron (Danian) of Northville; and his nephew Joe Duprey of Ann Arbor. He was also cherished by his sons and grandsons.

In their years in North Carolina, they spent countless hours in the ocean at Wrightsville Beach, and in the pandemic era, they drove to Florida to spend their winters e-biking as well as searching for and photographing birds; this passion for birds is one that they shared across a lifetime with their sons.
