Lacy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Lacy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lacy will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Johnson and Dorothy Johnson; and his sister Rose J. Wooten. He is survived by: his wife Grace Johnson; his children, Renny Johnson (Kathy), Trish Keeter and Keith Johnson (Kelli); his sister Celeste Watson; and his niece Denise (George). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park (1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
