It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Gene Sanderford of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Sanderford and Julia Ray Sanderford; and his brother Dan Sanderford. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Sanderford; his children, Tammy Sanderford, Denise Flynn of Wilmington, NC and Tommy Flynn of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Judy Bullard (Ricky) of Cerrogordo, NC and Donald Sanderford (Patricia) of Greensboro, NC; his granddaughters, Nadia Flynn and Olivia Flynn; his nephews, Danny Sanderford (Kathy), Ronnie Sanderford (Lisa) and Jimmy Sanderford (Sandy); Joanna Flynn.
