It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry J. Modlin in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Modlin and Magdaline Modlin; his sister Sheryl Nunn; his wife Rebecca Modlin; his son JJ Modlin (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Davis Modlin, Cache, Savannah, Case, Jackson, Aidan, Abigail, Ethan and Carter; and his pet Bubba. He was also cherished by other loving family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Larry's memory to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice, Wilmington, NC.
