With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry O'Neil Davis (Wilmington, North Carolina), born in Winnabow, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Rev. Jesse Lee, Richard Davis, Linda D. Smith, Vivian D. McCrae and Lorraine Oliver.

He is survived by : his wife Clarissa Brown Davis; his siblings, Judith Randolph (Willie) of Bolivia, NC, Rev. Alexander of Wilmington, NC and Bruce Davis of Wilmington, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Davis of Southport, NC, Emma Ray Owens of Delco, NC, Essie M. Nichols (Douglas), Phyllis Simpson (Gregory), Winnie Still-Davis (New Jersey), Roy Lee Brown of Delco, NC, Wayborn Brown of Wilmington, NC and Archie Smith of Bolivia, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, loved ones and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shaw Funeral Home (520 Red Cross St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
