It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Sneeden of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Benjamin Vaught Jr. and Hilda Rivenbark Vaught; her husband Kenneth Sneeden Sr.; her children, Timothy Wayne Sneeden and Wanda Bolton; and her sister Gloria Vaught Musselwhite.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Sneeden Jr. (Sara) and Cindy McNally (Stephen); her daughter-in-law Eilleen Sneeden; her sister Wanda Vaught Smith; her grandchildren, Ginny Bolton, Woody Bolton, Michael Sneeden (Rachel), Emily Brooks, Victoria McNally Smith (Ricky) and Jeremy McNally; and her great grandchildren, Zoe Collett, Damian Tuttle, Samuel Sneeden and Laci Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Silver Lake Baptist Church (4715 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
