He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Rivers and Daphne Rivers. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Jones Rivers; his sons, Marc Rivers (Jessica), Daniel and Kelley Wheat-Rivers; his granddaughter Emma; and his siblings, Brad Rivers (Pat) and Lynn Dellinger (Dewey). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel (1535 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403).
