“The McQueen Family sends our sympathy to the Howie Family. Mrs. Howie was my homeroom teacher at Williston Senior High School and was our neighbor for many years until we moved away. Mr. and Mrs. Howie were so kind and often chatted with us as they did their daily walk in the neighborhood. Each time I visit home, I would often think about both of them. Your family was blessed with her presence, and I was blessed to know her as my teacher, neighbor and mentor at St. Luke AME Zion Church.”
