We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 98, Margaret DeVane Barron of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret DeVane Barron to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Jefferson DeVane and Margaret Benson DeVane; her husband Martin Leo Barron; and her sister Frances Veerman McRae. She is survived by : her children, Martin Barron, Jr. (Edi), Mary Murphy (Thomas), Michael Barron and Laura Foncannon (Scott); her daughter-in-law Debra Barron; and her niece Susan Buteau. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Parish (25 S 3rd St, Wilmington, NC 28401).

If desired, a memorial donation may be made to St. James Parish to benefit one of their many outreach programs.
