She was predeceased by : her husband Frank Smolinski; her children, Bonnie Haislip and Darrin Smolinski; her brother Gary Klein; and her parents, Madeline Klein and Spencer Klein.

She is survived by : her children, Frank Smolinski (Sue) of Harbor Springs, MI and Glenn Smolinski (Kathy) of Tyngsboro, MA; her grandchildren, Amy Addabbo, Justin Haislip, Ryan Haislip, David Smolinski, Matthew Smolinski, Kelley Davis (Zachary), Josh Smolinski (Katie), Megan Weidner (Lucas) and Emma Smolinski; and her great grandchild Noah Roberson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church (5524 Myrtle Grove Rd, Wilmington, NC 28409). Please RSVP via her memorial website (sites. google. com/view/marlenesmolinski).
