She was predeceased by: her parents, C. D. Burton, Sr. and Frances James Burton; her husband Don Benjamin Coombs, Sr.; her children, Daniel Brian Coombs, Donna Coombs Lee (William "Billy") and Don Benjamin Coombs, Jr. of Burgaw, NC; and her brother C. D. Burton, Jr. of Wilmington.
She is survived by: her sister Martha Ellen Burton Lamb of Hephzibah, GA.; and her grandchildren, Brittany Watson, Brooke Ottaway, Amber Eldred, Benjamin Coombs and Madison Myers. She is also survived by her twelve great-grandchildren, along with many cherished family members and friends.
