She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold M. McFarland and Nora Reardon; and her husband Noah Wilford Edgell, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Norah Kertis (Bob) of Pickens, SC, Catherine Edgell, Deborah Reid (Michael) of Rocky Point, NC, Richard Edgell (Cindy) of Delco, NC, Scott Edgell (Cathy) of Wilmington, NC and Denise Hinnant (Patrick) of Wilmington, NC; her sister Margie Hayhurst of Painesville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer, Heather, Cody, Matthew, Sebastian, Kari-Ann, Zachary, Mackenzie, Rick, Jake, Amanda, Caitlyn, Tyler, Cal, Hayden and Luke; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Ella, Kayleigh, Courtney, Faith Ashley, Janna, Avery, Wyatt, Rowan, Caroline, Mya, Jack, Kinley, Abby and Easton. She is also survived by several great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
