She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James Underwood and Virginia Kirby Underwood; and her sisters, Carol Underwood Boyce and Bobbi Underwood Clemmons. She is survived by: her husband Ray; her children, Heather Nelson Thompson (Scott) and Matthew Todd Nelson (Steven); her sister Nancy Underwood Patchell; and her grandson Matthew "Dawson" Thompson.
