She was predeceased by: her mother Ila Mae Williams; her husband Reverend Thomas A. Spikes; her father Everett Williams; and her daughters, Sharon Spikes, Wanda Spikes and Elizabeth Spikes.
She is survived by: her children, Tamela Deans (Billy) of Newton Grove, NC, Angel Griffin (Steven) of Boone, NC and Susan Barden (Charles) of Belville, NC.; and her mini-poodle Bentley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
