She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeb Vance Vernon and Myrtle Herring Vernon; her husband Homer Keith Worthington; her son Gene Worthington; her daughter-in-law Myrtle; her granddaughter Jennifer Ann Worthington; her son Keith Worthington; her daughter-in-law Faye Worthington; and her siblings, Vance Vernon and Violet Rae Vernon.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Daniels (Ray) of Wilmington, Janet Perryman (David) of Houston, TX, Nelda Johnson (Joe) and Barry Worthington of Florida; her grandchildren, Michele Worthington, Madeline Daniel Woodard (Chris), Matthew Daniel, Jeremiah Worthington (Shelly) of Louisiana, Brian Johnson (Nicole) of Wilmington, Alan Johnson and Stephen Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Katherine, Grant, Madison and Graelyn.
