Marylin M. Searby Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 14, 2025, at the age of 95, Marylin M. Searby of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marylin may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marylin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Martha Pompeo (Douglas); her husband Arthur J. Searby; her parents, Joseph Ripperger and Mary "Willa" Ripperger; and her brother Joseph Ripperger.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Searby and N. C.. She is also survived by seven nieces, three grandchildren, many cousins and other family members.
