He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Marlow Williams and Elizabeth Smith Williams; and his son Melvin Bryant Williams, Jr. (Melvin). He is survived by: his wife Helen Louise Williams; his sons, Brandon Williams (Holly Williams) and Casey Williams; and his stepchildren, David Knight (Edwina Knight) and Christina Fennelly (Sean Fennelly).
