He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Calhoun and Joe Harlan Calhoun; and his brother Joe Harlan Calhoun Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marianna Calhoun; his children, Sarah Calhoun (Brad Smith) of Cary, NC and Jonathan Calhoun (Mary Vance Calhoun) of Wilmington, NC.; and his sisters, Peggy Wingate (Mitch) and Dottie McLean.
