It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Charlene Waggett (Wilmington, North Carolina), who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Hewlett Floyd and Franklin Malone Floyd. She is survived by: her husband Davie Waggett; her children, Blair Waggett (Chrissy) and Brooke Batts (Stephen); her grandchildren, John, Sam, Mac, Lila, Charlotte and Hilton; and her siblings, Michael Floyd (Pat) and Susan Grimstead (Michael).

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Port City Community Church (250 Vision Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wilmington chapter of Sleep In Heavenly Peace in Charlene's memory. (https://www.tmcfunding.com) Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
